CBC Finishes Second at Battle at Winter Creek

Blanchard, Okla. – Entering the final round trailing by four shots, Central Baptist College men's golf looked to move up and win the Battle at Winter Creek today. CBC ended up finishing second with a 54-hole score of 916, finishing eight shots behind the hosts from University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Individually, Kitsakon Jairak won the title by three shots, closing with a 72 for a final score of 219. Leopold Maes finished in a tie for third at 228 while Jakub Slapal finished in a tie for sixth with a 232. Emmanuel LaBeur shot a 237 and Paul Gomez finished with a 246.
CBC plays their final tournament of the fall in two weeks at the Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational in Chickasaw, Tenn.
