#MustangsWin! CBC Captures Indiviidual and Team Win at WBU Fall Invitational!

Kennett, Mo. – Holding on to a 10-shot lead entering the final round of the WBU Fall Invitational, Central Baptist College men's golf looked to hold onto that lead today and win their second fall tournament in the last six. CBC closed the tournament strong, firing a final round 296 to finish with a 584 to capture the win by 16 shots over runners up Missouri Baptist, their first team win since the Freed Hardeman Fall Invitational last year.
Individually, Jakub Slapal was the champion, closing with a final round 67, including a 31 on the final nine holes, finishing with a 140 over two rounds to win the tournament by three shots. Leopold Maes, Paul Gomez and Kitsakon Jairak all finished in a tie for sixth with a 148 while Emmanuel LaBeur, who competed as an individual, shot a 152 and Joaquin Ali finished with a 157.
CBC is back on the course next Monday for the first round of the Lyon Fall Invitational at Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Batesville.
