Mustangs Finish Fourth at SCU Fall Invitational

Oklahoma City – Looking to improve their standing, Central Baptist College men's golf was on the course at Lake Hefner Golf Club for the final 36 holes of the Southwestern Christian Fall Invitational on Wednesday. CBC moved up two spots, finishing fourth with a score of 877, 34 shots behind the winners from Kansas Wesleyan.
Individually, Jakub Slapal shot a three-round score of 220 after shooting a final round one-under-par 71. Kitsakon Jairak shot a 218 and Leopold Maes closed with a final round 68 to top the Mustangs with a three-round score of 215. Suraprat Pareepart followed with a 230 and Joaquin Ali finished at 243. Paul Gomez, Preston Nesterenko and Emmanuel LaBeur all competed as individuals, with Gomez shooting a 223, Nesterenko shooting a 231 and LaBeur shooting a 238.
The Mustangs are off next week and return to the course on Sept. 18 in Kennett, Mo., for the Williams Baptist Fall Invitational.
