CBC Finishes Seventh At Battle of Big Creek

            Mountain Home, Ark. – Returning to the site of last season's American Midwest Conference championship, Central Baptist College men's golf competed in the Battle at Big Creek the last two days. The Mustangs finished with a two-round total of 611 to finish seventh in a field of 12.

            Individually, Leopold Maes was the top finisher, placing in a tie for eighth with a total of 147, seven shots behind the winner from Blue Mountain Christian. Jakub Slapal was next, posting a total score of 149, followed by Suraprat Pareepart, who finished with a 153, Kitsakon Jairak, who shot a 164, along with individual Emmanuel LaBeur, and Paul Gomez, who finished with a total of 173.

            The Mustangs are back on the course next week in Alton, Ill., for the Missouri Baptist University Invitational at the Spencer Olin Golf Club.
