#MustangsWin! Men's Golf Captures Second Straight Tourney at CBC Invitational!

Maumelle, Ark. – Carrying a 13 shot lead into the final round of the CBC Invitational, Central Baptist College men's golf looked to capture their first tournament of the spring today in the final round at the Country Club of Arkansas. CBC shot a final round 307 and held off a charge from Missouri Baptist, finishing with a 602 overall and a win by four strokes.
The win is the second straight victory for CBC following their win at Evangel's Tournament to end the fall. Individually, Suraprat Pareepart placed second, closing with a final round 74 to finish at 149, tied for second and one shot off the win. Jakub Slapal finished fourth after closing with a 77 and a total of 150 while Leopold Maes, the first round individual leader, closed with a 79 to finish in fifth place with a 151. Kitsakon Jairak finished with a 77 and a total of 152 to place sixth and Paul Gomez shot a final round 81 to finish with a 159 and in a tie for 11th. Emmanuel LaBeur and Joaquin Ali both competed as individuals, with LaBeur finishing at 168 and Ali carding a 173.
CBC will be back on a golf course in Mississippi next week for the Blue Mountain Spring Classic at the Old Waverly Golf Club.
