Mustangs Lead After One Round of CBC Invitational

Maumelle, Ark. – Teeing off for the first time since winning their last fall tournament, Central Baptist College men's golf opened play today in the CBC Invitational at the Country Club of Arkansas. The Mustangs hold a 13-shot lead after round one after opening with a seven-over par round of 295.
Individually, CBC had five golfers in the top 10. Leopold Maes leads the tournament after shooting an opening round even par 72. Jakub Slapal is tied for second, one shot behind Maes while Kitsakon Jairak is in a tie for sixth after an opening round 75, along with teammate Suraprat Pareepart and Paul Gomez is in ninth after opening with a 78. Emmanuel LaBeur and Joaquin Ali are both competing as individuals and shot an 85 and 90, respectively.
CBC will look to hold onto to the lead when tomorrow's final round tees off at 9:30 a.m.
