Mustangs Finish Third At Williams Baptist Fall Invitational

Kennett, Mo. – Entering the final round just eight shots off the lead, Central Baptist College men's golf looked to close the gap today during the final round of the Williams Baptist Fall Invitational at the Kennett Country Club. CBC nearly equaled their first round score of 302, firing a final round 301 to finish with a 603 (+27) overall to place third, 22 shots behind the champions, Blue Mountain College.
Individually, Kitsakon Jairak was the top finisher for the Mustangs, posting a final round one-under 71 to finish at 148 and in a tie for ninth. Paul Gomez and Jakub Slapal both finished with scores of 151 after a final round 75 for Gomez and a final round 77 for Slapal. Suraprat Pareepart closed with a 78 to finish at 155 and Joaquin Ali shot a final round 83 to finish at 158. Emmanuel LaBeur, Noah Rivera and Anupon Wandee all competed as individuals, with LaBeur shooting a final round of 70 (-2) to finish with a 149, while Rivera shot a final round 76 to finish at 153 and Wandee shot a final round 75 to finish at 162.
The Mustang will be back on the course in two weeks at the Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational.
