Slapal Posts Top-10 At SCU Fall Invitational

Oklahoma City – Entering the final 18 holes in sixth place, Central Baptist College men's golf looked to get closer to the lead today in the final round of the Southwestern Christian Fall Invitational at the Lake Hefner Golf Club North Course. CBC would shoot a final round 290 and finish with a total score of 852, good for a tie for seventh and just one shot off of sixth place.
Individually, Jakub Slapal closed with a final round 67 to finish in seventh place with a total score of 204 (-2). Paul Gomez was next for the Mustangs, finishing with a total score of 213, followed by Joaquin Ali with 218, Suraprat Pareepart at 219 and Kitsakon Jairak at 221. Anupon Wandee, Noah Rivera and Emmanuel LaBeur, who competed as individuals, shot a 70, 76 and 73 in the final round to finish with scores of 213, 228 and 229, respectively.
CBC returns to the course next week when they head to Kennett, Mo., for the Williams Baptist Fall Invitational.
