Harmon leads CBC Invitational in Day one

Maumelle, Ark. – The Country Club of Arkansas is the setting for the Central Baptist College Invitational being held Monday and Tuesday, March 20-21. Forty-seven women and men golfers representing seven schools are here to compete.

Student-Athletes are participating from; Missouri Valley College, Evangel University, Southwestern Christian University, Central Christian College, Crowley's Ridge College, Hannibal-LaGrange and the host, Central Baptist.

After Day one, Mariah Farden (Missouri Valley) is in the top spot firing an 84 (+12) on the day. Her teammate Emma Sperry is in second position with an 87. Haley Smith (Central Christian) is in the third spot with an 89 (+17).

CBC's MaKenzie Baker (SO/Holliday, Tx) is tied in the fourth spot with a 93 (+21). Shelby Raborn (FR/Maumelle, Ark.) finished day one in the eighth position with a 104 (+32).

CBC's Austin Harmon (SR/Bryant, AR) is leading the Men's division firing a 70 (-2) for a one shot lead over Missouri Valley's Kaz Sakai (71, -1). Evangels' Dylan Bekemier (73) and Grant Siefried (74) follow closely.

Missouri Valley is leading the team totals with a 300 (+12) with CBC one stroke behind (301) in second place. Missouri Valley "B" is in the third spot with a 307.
