Three Mustangs Earn All-Conference Honors

            Chesterfield, Mo. – Three Central Baptist College men's basketball players earned honors from the American Midwest Conference tonight at the pre-tournament banquet. Tyler Johnson, MacArthur Reed, Jr., and Caleb Knight were selected by the AMC for outstanding seasons.

            Johnson earned second team honors. He led the team in scoring (amongst qualified players) averaging 13.6 points per game while shooting 51 percent from the field and led the team in rebounding, grabbing 6.7 rebounds per game.

            Reed also earned second team honors. He was third on the team in scoring, averaging 10.9 points per game and led the conference in assists with 113.

            Knight earned selection to the All-Freshman team. He averaged 9.6 points per game and paced the team in steals with 41. Dalton Alexander III was named the Champion of Character for the second year in a row.

            CBC, the number four seed in the AMC Tournament, takes on the five-seed, Crowley's Ridge in the quarterfinals. Tipoff from W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse in Springfield, Mo., is scheduled for 2:15 on Friday afternoon.
