Men's Basketball Welcomes Eight Newcomers For 2022-23

            Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College men's basketball coach Sam Kohnke has announced his 2022-23 recruiting class. The class consists of eight players, seven of whom are transfers.

            The newcomers to the program are Dante Adams, Nate Duda, Tonje Durham, Gabe Johnson, Devin Foster, Devon Jefferson, Deshawn Corprew and Tomas Mikyska. Adams, a native of Osceola, comes to CBC after spending the 2020-21 season at Texas A&M-Commerce, where he averaged eight points and four rebounds per game while shooting 92 percent at the free throw line. Duda joins the Mustangs after spending the 2021-22 season at Arizona Western College where he averaged nearly 12 points per game, six rebounds per game and 2.5 assists per game last season. Durham, a native of Richmond, Va., comes to CBC after spending last season at Peru State in Nebraska. Johnson, who hails from Bloomfield, N.J., played last season at Arkansas Baptist. Devin Foster missed all of last season after redshirting. Jefferson, a New Orleans native, joins the Mustangs from Delgado Community College. Corprew was the sixth man on Texas Tech's team that played for the National Championship in 2019 at the Division I level and Mikyska, who is from the Czech Republic, joins the Mustangs from Barry University in Florida.

            The season begins at home on Oct. 29 when the Mustangs welcome the Wildcats of Louisiana Christian into Reddin Fieldhouse. Tipoff for that game is slated for 3 p.m.
