CBC Heads To Williams Baptist To Open Second Half of AMC Play

Conway, Ark. –Heading to the road tomorrow night, Central Baptist College men's basketball will open the second half of American Midwest Conference against Williams Baptist. Tipoff from the Southerland Mabee Center in Walnut Ridge is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and links to coverage can be found on the web and on social media!
GAME NOTES
- CBC is 9-11 overall and 5-3 in the AMC
- WBU is 11-7 overall and 3-5 in conference play
- CBC leads the all-time series with the Eagles 17-13 and have won three in a row, including a 74-68 win in Conway back at the beginning of December
- Kelvin Robinson leads four players in double figures scoring, leading both the team and the AMC, averaging 21.2 points of the team's 74.8 points per game on 45 percent shooting from the field, 32 percent from three and 65 percent from the free throw line
- Brevin Brimble (17.1), Jordan Parker (14.6) and James Moore (10.7) are the other guys in double figures

- Cortez King leads three Eagles in double figures scoring, averaging 12.1 of the team's 79.4 points per game on 43 percent from the field, 27 percent from three and 63 percent at the charity stripe
- Shackeel Butters is the leading rebounder, grabbing 8.4 of the team's 38.6 per game
- Braxton Haff is leading the team in assists, handing out 2.6 per game
- WBU is committing 12.2 turnovers per game while forcing 17 per contest
- Defensively, the Eagles allow 74.4 points per game on 44 percent from the field and 32 percent from three while opponents shoot 70 percent at the free throw line and grab 38.1 rebounds per game
