CBC Looks To Get Back To Winning Ways Against Harris-Stowe

Conway, Ark. – Having lost their last three games, all on the road, Central Baptist College men's basketball returns home tomorrow afternoon for an American Midwest Conference clash with the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State. GAME NOTES
- CBC enters the contest 8-11 overall and 4-3 in the AMC
- HSSU is 2-13 overall and 1-6 in conference play
- CBC owns an 8-7 lead in the all-time series and have won five out of the last six including a 103-88 win in St. Louis last season
- Kelvin Robinson leads four Mustangs in double figures scoring at 21.2 per game while Brevin Brimble chips in with 19.2, Jordan Parker adds 13.7 and James Moore scores 10.2 per game of the team's 75.3 per game average on 45 percent from the field, 33 percent from three and 65 percent at the charity stripe
- Robinson is also the leading rebounder, grabbing 7.1 per game of the team's 40.1
- Kelvin is also averaging 2.8 assists per game to lead the team
- The Mustangs are committing 13.4 turnovers per contest
- On defense, CBC is allowing 73.3 points per game while opponents shoot 42 percent from the field, 33 percent from three and 71 percent at the free throw line while grabbing 34.7 rebounds and getting forced into 11.3 turnovers
- HSSU is led in scoring by Jamarr Joseph, who averages 10.3 of the teams 59.5 points per game on 41 percent from the field, 29 percent from three and 63 percent at the free throw line
- Antwan Campbell is the leading rebounder, grabbing 5.4 of the team's 31.6 rebounds per game
- Elmelik Martin, Jr., leads the team in assists, handing out 2.2 per game
- On defense, the Hornets are allowing 74.4 points per game while opponents shoot 51 percent from the field, 36 percent from three and 68 percent at the free throw line while grabbing 33.5 rebounds per game and getting forced into 11.1 turnovers per game
