Men's Basketball Announces 2021-22 Recruiting Class
Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College head men's basketball coach Sam Kohnke has announced his recruiting class for 2021-22. The class features nine players, all transfers, including four former Division I athletes.
"This is a recruiting class that has the potential to be very special," said Kohnke. "The class has a lot of talent, length and athleticism but what makes it special to me is the toughness and competitive nature of these student-athletes. They work hard and put the team first every day. I'm really looking forward to coaching these guys throughout the season."
Headlining the class are former DI players Deshawn Corprew, Mayan Kiir, Keiondre Jefferson and Justin Van Pelt. Joining those four are Lamont Simmons, James Moore, Hayden Peterson, Braylon Steen and Bryan Rector.
