Mustangs Swept By Wildcats

            North Little Rock, Ark. – Playing a doubleheader for the second time in three days, Central Baptist College baseball hosted the Wiley Wildcats today at DeJanis Memorial Field. CBC (5-5) was swept by WC (6-7) falling 7-3 and 5-2.

GAME ONE – WILEY 7, CBC 3

            CBC scored all three of their runs in the first inning on a double by Ryan Dauphinee, an error on a failed pickoff attempt, and a double by Cesar Franco. Wiley scored two in the second, two in the third, one in the fourth and two in the sixth for their runs.

GAME TWO – WILEY 5, CBC 2

            Both of CBC's runs came in the second off singles by Jeremy Franco and Preston White. Wiley scored a run in the fourth but were kept quiet until they plated four runs in the top of the seventh to hand CBC the defeat.

UP NEXT

            The Mustangs continue their homestand tomorrow when they host Philander Smith. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
