Conway, Ark. – Three Central Baptist College teams were in action on Halloween 2025. Here is a recap from today:
MEN'S SOCCER 3, DALLAS CHRISTIAN 0
CBC waited until the 76th minute to lift the lid on goalscoring, but once Nigel Agboola put one into the back of the net, Lincoln Lopez followed suit, as did Michael Settle, with goals in the 83rd and 86th minutes to give the Mustangs their fifth win this season. Lopez's goal was assisted by Braden Biggs and Jasper Gadellaa and Maxwell Kruit combined to shutout DCC with Kruit earning the win. CBC takes on Columbia tomorrow in their regular season finale at 3:30 at the Conway Soccer Complex.
EVANGEL 108, MEN'S BASKETBALL 90
The Mustangs wrapped up the Uphaus Classic with a high scoring affair against the Valor. Jason Hunt led five CBC players in scoring with 26 points while Tyler Johnson added 17, MacArthur Reed, Jr. and Dalton Alexander III both had 13 and Caleb Knight added 10 points. The Mustangs head to Flower Mound, Texas next Friday to take on Dallas Christian.
COLUMBIA 3, VOLLEYBALL 0; UHSP 3, VOLLEYBALL 1
CBC played their final two home matches of the season tonight in American Midwest Conference play. Avary Smith had 15 kills against Columbia while Madeline Freeman notched her 17th career triple-double with 10 kills, 17 assists and 16 digs. In the UHSP match, Smith led the way again with 10 kills while Freeman had a double-double with 20 assists and 14 digs. The Mustangs head to Springfield, Mo., on Tuesday night for an AMC clash with Mission.
